Z Launcher is an intelligent launcher designed to simplify and speed up your Android device. Unlike other launchers, Z Launcher focuses on functionality rather than aesthetics.

The standout feature of Z Launcher is its predictive usage technology, which learns how you use your phone and adapts the layout of the operating system accordingly. It prioritizes the apps and tasks you use most frequently, making them easily accessible on the home screen.

Another useful feature is Scribble, which allows you to quickly find apps, web searches, contacts, and more by drawing letters on the screen. As you spell out the word, Z Launcher provides real-time suggestions. While this feature is great for finding apps, the web search predictions can sometimes be less useful.

Z Launcher completely redesigns the Android front-end by consolidating multiple home screens into one. The majority of the screen is dedicated to a list of most-used apps, searches, and contacts, with a five-icon dock at the bottom. The central icon opens the apps drawer, while the other four are linked to automatically chosen apps.

The app drawer in Z Launcher is more like a list, displaying all installed applications in alphabetical order. However, the letter scribbling function does not work in the app drawer, which can be cumbersome if you have a large number of apps.

Unfortunately, Z Launcher does not support widgets. Instead, there is a slideable bar at the top of the home screen that displays the time, date, calendar entries, and weather based on your location. However, these cannot be customized or tied to specific apps or services.

Customization options in Z Launcher are limited. There are no themes, and you cannot choose which apps appear as icons or modify the behavior of the home screen. Despite this, Z Launcher offers a unique and simplified way to use your phone, making it particularly suitable for seniors or less tech-savvy users.
